"All along the shore were low scarps dotted with smooth round pebbles. Several chorten were stacked with skeletons and enormous curved horns of yak and sheep. These indicated the active practice of animal sacrifice.
These were Bon worhsipping points. Here we came across the family of Tibetans who had met us earlier at the camp. We exchanged tashi dalek and they smiled and waved as they passed by. They were resting on the rocks with two children and would complete the kora in the next few hours. Tibetans complete the kora of Manasarovar on foot in two days. It takes us four or five."
