"Out of Lhasa city, for the first hundred kilometers, we drove along the valleys of the Kyi chu and Tsangpo. Rich farmlands cultivated with crops were everywhere. The plots were small and hugged the flat slopes along the river.
'Is this a desert? This place is so lush,' said Medha.
