‘Universal Orlando 2014’ Includes Harry Potter Update

UO2014_cover.inddThe 13th edition of Universal Orlando: The Ultimate Guide to the Ultimate Theme Park Adventure by Kelly Monaghan and Seth Kubersky is better than ever.

Along with all the most current ticket and touring plan information, we’ve included details that will wet your whistle for catching the Hogwarts Express from Islands of Adventure to the new Harry Potter attraction – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios. Gringotts Bank Ride, an indoor roller coaster with 33D effects, and the shops and eating places are also previewed. Although Diagon Alley will open next year, start making your plans now!

Transformers, The Ride 3D opened to much fanfare. We describe it as “an exhilarating blur of mechanical mayhem.” Fast food aficionados (is there such a thing?) will appreciate Springfield U.S.A., an added bonus to the Simpsons Ride.

For those with a soft spot for the road trips of their youth – and accommodations that are budget-friendly, look no further than Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Opening is planned for early 2014, but the resort is already accepting reservations.

Did we mention there are 56 color photos, many of which are new?

As with many of our books, we’re offering a free excerpt of Universal Orlando 2014. To further tempt you, when you order Universal Orlando 2014 at just $9.57, we’ll add the 50-page PDF e-book, “What’s Near Universal Orlando?” It details all the hotels and restaurants that surround the Universal Orlando Resort and provides complete guides to all nearby theme parks, water parks, dinner shows, and attractions.

Universal Orlando 2014 may be unofficial, but it’s unbiased and a whole lot of fun.
